Residency Application

Interested in a career in veterinary parasitology?

The National Center for Veterinary Parasitology awards funding to veterinarians completing residencies in veterinary clinical parasitology while also pursuing a PhD degree in veterinary parasitology or immediately following their PhD degree. Selection is competitive and funding is limited. To be successful, applicants must document a formal clinical training program plan that includes work in a diagnostic laboratory as well as a commitment to a career in veterinary parasitology.

It is strongly recommended that you inquire about availability of funding and suitability of your intended program before applying. Applications are due March 1st and will subsequently receive full consideration for funding beginning August 1st. For more information, please contact us: [email protected]
